January Card Chain Challenge
Happy Almost Friday!
Deborah hosted another fun Card Chain Challenge in January.
This is the card I sent to Kelly in Ohio. I'm so glad the wings (crackle-painted) arrived in one piece!
This is the lovely card I received from Daria in Wisconsin. Lovely embossing and coloring!
Thanks for visiting! Comments are appreciated!

Vintage Valentine Workshop
Happy Sunday. Hope you had a nice weekend.
Mine was super busy. Dinner Theatre on Friday night, Archiver's class on Saturday morning, and a farewell dinner on Saturday night for a friend who is moving far away this week. Very sad about that.
Here are the cards I made in the Archiver's Vintage Valentine Workshop a couple weekends ago:
(Crackle paint, Embossed heart and crown. The heart has a healthy dose of Stickles, too.)
(Canvas heart. Embossed Doily.)
(I had to do minor surgery on this card to get the hearts to line up.)
(Handmade flowers [from punches], Distress Ink-dyed lace.)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Thanks for visiting!
Hugs,
Joy

Vintage Ladies
Happy Thursday! Hope you are having a great week!
We had a little snow last night, but less than the weatherman predicted. My big issue this week is that I hurt my back painting over the weekend. Hope it gets better soon! Luckily I have to sit and work during the day and that helps if I keep still.
Here is a card set featuring vintage ladies from Hero Arts:
Supplies
Stamps: Hero Arts (CL452, CL402)
Inks: Inks: Hero Arts (Black)
Papers: Bazzill (Gray, Pink); Neenah (Solar White)
Other: Recollections (Flowers); Spellbinders (Classic Circles, Lacey Circles)
Thanks for visiting! Comments are appreciated!

I made this card for the Gray is the New Black Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. You still have plenty of time to enter because the deadline is not until midnight MDT on Monday, January 24.

Inks: Ranger (Broken China, Stormy Sky, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Black Soot)
Papers: Aquarelle (300 lb watercolor); DCWV (gray)
Other: Michael's (gingham ribbon); Spellbinders (Labels 8); Ranger (Enamel Accents); American Crafts (Clear Embossing Powder)

Flower Cards
Happy Sunday! We're off to church soon, but I wanted to post some more cards first!
These cards are inspired by the new Hero Arts 2011 Catalog, which is full of beautiful flowers. I just love this new flower stamp and it even comes in more than one size.
To make the flowers, just stamp the images on the watercolor paper, emboss with clear embossing powder, and color with distress inks (as much color as you can get on them). Next spray them a few times with Perfect Pearls Mist and let them dry before you cut them out. Perfectly shiny results!
Here is a close-up of the flower ( a little less shine on an angle):
Another card in purple:
