More Fun With Fimo
I made some more Fimo items tonight. I'd say buttons, but most of them don't have any holes!
Green Leaf Shapes: I used a cookie cutter then added my own indentations for the veins. I can picture myself using these leaves alongside a Hero Arts stamped flower in a card soon!
Small Square Shapes: Stamped squares with Hero Arts LL022 Pop Petals (no ink) for texture. I also brushed them with some Perfect Pearls before baking.
Red Round Shapes: I stamped the Pop Petals with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black before baking.

One thing I am surprised about is how much my hands hurt after two nights of playing with Fimo! I'm using Fimo Soft, but rolling it out still takes a good amount of effort! The lower knuckles on the palms of my hand are feeling painful! And yesterday I forgot to mention the first thing I did, which was to slice my finger open. Yikes!
Oh well, it has been a lot of fun, but I think tomorrow night after work I will go back to traditonal cardmaking! Maybe I can use some of my new Fimo creations!
Oh yeah, I do want to find some of the "push molds" and give them a try this weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out!
Hugs,
dustypenny (aka Joy)
