Happy Easter Bunny Card
I am thankful that this week is winding down, that I have a few lovely people (like you!) who visit my blog and leave a nice comment, and that spring has finally sprung! What are you thankful for today?
If I haven't visited your blog lately, it is because my Google Reader is about to explode. I think I added too many blogs too fast and now I'm having trouble keeping up. I might need to make some categories or other adjustments so it isn't so overwhelming.
Hubby liked this cute little bunny stamp so that was a good excuse for it to arrive in my mailbox this week! I am still trying to figure out Copic Markers. I don't think I am following the official technique, but I am trying to get better at it.
Stamp(s): Hero Arts (H5380 Bunny With Egg, CG139 Cling Dots, CL180 Happy Greetings)
Ink(s): Tsukineko (Tuxedo Black); Memories (White); ColorBox (Chestnut Roan)
Paper(s): Hero Arts (Carnation & Celadon Folded Cards); The Paper Cut (Fossil Bib Card)
Other: Copic Markers (Assorted)
Thanks for looking! Comments are appreciated!
Hugs,
dustypenny (aka Joy)

Un(Caged) Bird Card
I used lots and lots of Tim Holtz and Hero Arts goodness for this shiny springtime card. Just couldn't bear to put the birdie inside his cage!
Stamp(s): Hero Arts (CG125 Friend Definition, CG119 Flourish Background, CL342 Everyday Sayings)
Ink(s): Tsukineko (VersaMark), Hero Arts (Soft Sand); Ranger (Pumice Stone, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Spiced Marmalade, Walnut Stain)
Paper(s): Hero Arts (Powder Folded Card); Upcycled Packaging (Chipboard)
Other: Sizzix (Caged Bird); Recollections (Pearls); Ranger (Perfect Pearls); American Crafts (Embossing Powder)
Now I'm off to eat dinner (thanks hubby!) and then play with some new stamps that arrived today. So many stamps, so little time!

March Card Chain Challenge
Hello. Remember me? It's been awhile again. Today is the first day in a very l--o--n--g time that I didn't have to leave my house. It felt great!
Among work (aka stress) and other things (birthday, not so great doctor visit, etc.), I was also busy attending CKC Louisville and the Indianpolis Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival. I have lots of cards and things from those weekends to share with you soon.
Now on to business... This sweet card from Donna Mikasa in HI arrived in my mailbox yesterday for Deborah's March Card Chain Challenge! The sentiment is a good reminder. I really need to put this card somewhere I will see it every single day!

Donna's cards always look so beautifully colored online, and this one is no exception. It is even more impressive in person! Just lovely.
As if the card was not enough, Donna also included a lovely My Sentiments Exactly stamp set. And finally, Donna has the most perfect handwriting I have ever seen. Such flair. Thanks so much, Donna!
Here is the card I sent to Marcy, which arrived in MA yesterday. I'm so glad she liked it! I was really happy with the way it turned out, even if the picture below looks crooked.
Stamp(s): Hero Arts (F5293 Bicycle, CL280 Elephants, CL180 Happy Greetings)
Ink(s): Tsukineko (Tuxedo Black); Ranger (Shabby Shutters); Copic Markers (Assorted)
Paper(s): The Paper Cut (Pink Lemonade/Fossil Scallop Circle Layered Kit)
Other: Royale (Crochet Thread); Bazzill (Ribbon); Prima (Flower); Flower Soft (Sweet Pea); Cuttlebug (Embossing Folder)
