February Card Chain Challenge
Hello. It has been awhile, I know... work is crazy (otherwise known as the new normal, but I digress) and I have also been trying to reorganize my craft space. If you have purging tips, please send them my way!
In between that I have also been making some cards for:
It is a simple white and green card that makes a BIG statement. The four-leaf clover is made from four hearts that have been white embossed. It looks like Agata used Distress Ink(s) on them. I especially like the little text button with bow in the center and the fun sentiment! Thanks, Agata!
Here is the card I sent to Nancy, which arrived in CA earlier this week:
The Hero Arts images are stamped with Ranger Paint Dabbers (gold, copper, juniper, and eggplant) instead of ink, which was a technique I learned at Archiver's recently. I also added Stickles to the ferns and Glossy Accents to the butterfly.
Thanks for looking! Comments are appreciated! Hope you have a great weekend!
Hugs,
dustypenny (aka Joy)
In between that I have also been making some cards for:
- Jennifer McGuire's Cards for Kids Drive (two new kids have been added for this phase; please try to send a few cards their way!)
- OperationWriteHome (general cards mostly: birthday, love, thinking of you, etc.)

Love both cards, I love the simple elegance of the first one and the second card has a wonderful effect on the background, very nice collage piece!
I'm loving my card, Joy! Thanks for sending this artistic masterpiece. Agata's card is so fresh and pretty, I love the look of bright green and white.
Enjoy!

both cards are so lovely. It is such fun getting a card in the post.
Hi Joy thanks for sharing Aga's beautiful card and I so love your card. Thanks for reminding me of all those wonderful techniques. Hugs.Kathy
Sorry you are so crazy at work
Love Aga's and yours is a true beauty! Just AMAZING!
Your card is beautiful! Thanks for explaining all those techniques I haven't tried yet! The shine on your card gives it such an elegant look! Thanks for showing mine!
Thanks for sharing Agata's wonderful card and yours is beautiful as well. Must look into the technique you used. Too bad work has to interfere with our fun stuff!!
Love your card and Agata's too! It's great fun taking part in the CCC. I wish I had some purging tips to pass on but I'm the worst for holding on to things just in case I might use them sometime!
