you're sew lovely
Here are a couple of cards for the current Caardvarks lace challenge. I used my sweet Sew Lovely stamps by Lawn Fawn plus a Vintage Text Scrapblock by Cornish Heritage Farms. Oddly enough the text is full of sewing/fashion related terms like tailor, collar, plaids, buttons, stitched, etc.!
On the first card, I was trying to capture the look of an old storefront. The lace is the curtains, the window is from an old sewing pattern, and the sign says "you're sew lovely".
On the second card (shaped like a tag but opens to reveal a message) I used more old sewing pattern to create a crumpled flower embellishment.
