Just a Note

I can't believe the March Hero Arts Blog Challenge is almost over. Where did the time go?

Here is another card using the lovely Hydrangea stamp. It is quickly becoming a new favorite! This time I used Crackle Accents on the flower and leaves after coloring. I chose the sentiment to go with the Aged Sheet Music background and it fit just right. I also threw in some machine stitching since I'm on speaking terms with my sewing machine again!

Here is a close-up showing the crackle finish on the flower:

Stamp(s): Hero Arts (K5193 Flower Word Pattern, K5376 Hydrandgea, CL342 Everyday Sayings); Cornish Heritage Farms (Aged Sheet Music Scrapblock)
Ink(s): Hero Arts (Cerulean); ColorBox (Charcoal); Memories (White); Tsukineko (Tuxedo Black)
Paper(s): Hero Arts (Powder & Cerulean Folded Cards); The Paper Company (Kraft)
Other: Copic Markers (Assorted); Ranger (Crackle Accents); Machine-Stitching

Speaking of sewing machine, here is another project I have been working on, a stuffed kitty. It is almost done except for the face and stitching up the back. I didn't fully understand the "dart seam" in the rear end so that came out a bit funny. If any of you sew maybe you can help me figure it out for next time!

Thanks for looking! Comments are appreciated!

Hugs,

Another gorgeous hydrangea card! I want that stamp so badly!!!! And I love your kitty! Maybe you can stitch the butt closed by hand--at least it has a tail!

Fabulous colouring and cutting Joy. Love the colour and the crackle looks amazing. I laughed as I had used exactly the same sentiment on my Hydrangea card
