Washi Workshop

The Studio Calico Washi Workshop started yesterday. This week's lessons focus on Washi Scrapbooking.

Some of the tips were about layering and stitching on washi tape (both layouts below). Another tip was creating texture with pleated washi tape (bottom layout below).

Thanks for visiting!

I have not seen anyone use Washi on a layout. Love. Love the subjects too! :-)

That's some cuteness right there. Good job with the Washi tape.

I am very intregued by washi tape! Have only seen it in Japan! I cant believe you got a workshop here in the states! I actually have not looked here, but will now, for classes! I follow a blog called Felt So Cute, and she is an American living in Japan temporarily, and is experiencing everything there with her family, including washi tape factories, classes, and she even did on of her daughters birthday parties as a washi tape party and they designed notebooks, and other things with it. I thought it was so awesome!
The invitations were so cute : HERE
The actual party post: HERE
Hope you enjoy!!!
