I made this card for someone who is going on a cruise soon. Jealous much? I am!

I stiched with blue ribbon to make waves for the Caardvarks challenge. It really looks like waves and gives the card some nice texture. The sailboat is paper pieced for the Hero Arts Blog challenge.

The map is from an old 1980 Atlas book from Salvation Army. I added blue gems on the sailboat, the compass, and on a few of the cities on the map just for fun.
